FLIGHT AK278
7th JULY 2014 - AirAsia confirms there was an incident with Flight AK 278 at Bandar Seri Begawan International Airport, Brunei today at approximately 1600hrs.
All passengers and crew on board disembarked SAFELY and there are no injuries reported for this incident. There were a total of 102 passengers and 7 crew on board.
Our ground services personnel are currently attending to the needs of all passengers concerned.
Our team is working with the relevant authorities to identify the root cause of this incident, and AirAsia will provide further updates as necessary.
